DATA PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy ( “ the Policy “) explains more about the collection , use and storage of personal information ( “ personal data “) , examples of the data we collect , the reasons for doing so and your rights in relation thereto.
The Policy refers only to the website marieashworth.com and not (e.g) to any other sites or organisations which may be referred to on the website or to which links may be provided.
Why it’s collected
I use your personal information in order to provide you with my services and for managing and carrying out the work for which I have been instructed, including invoicing and collecting payment.
Examples of personal data may include – your name,address, phone number, e-mail , any identification or bank details, passports, utility bills, or other types of documents which may identify you in some way and which I may reasonably request in connection with due diligence/ KYC procedures.
Processing
All processing of personal information/ personal data will be in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation ( “GDPR”) , further details of which can be found on the Information Commissioner’s website (www.inforights.im)and for these purposes, I will be the processor of the information but in particular:
- I will never sell your personal data, nor disclose it save as may reasonably be required in connection with the business transaction/s for which I am instructed, or as required by the Law ( of the Isle of Man from time to time or as may be applicable therein, such as the GDPR aforesaid once in force in the Island)
- I will never transfer your personal data outside the EU without your consent save to the extent of and as reasonably required in connection with the performance of the transaction/s for which I am being instructed or as required or permitted under the Law as applicable from time to time.
- I have implemented generally accepted standards of technological and operational security in order to protect stored personal data from loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration or destruction ( and will notify you in the event of any breach of your personal data where it might expose you to serious risk).
- This Policy will be reviewed at least annually and may be updated, amended or modified from time to time . (You will not receive notification of the amendments and should refer to the site.)
- Under the GDPR you will have rights which include the right to have your data amended where incorrect. - Any information supplied by visitors to my website and required for analysis of traffic will only be used in aggregate form , so individuals are not identified and I will only disclose personal information to suppliers engaged to process data on my behalf

- Where you are transmitting information to me over the internet ( including by e-mail ), or I am transmitting to you in furtherance of your instructions or enquiries , this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
- I may hold your personal data on my systems not only while dealing with the transaction/s for which I have been instructed but thereafter, for as long as necessary to comply with my legal obligations. I will review annually to decide whether we are still required or entitled to process it or if i need to retain in an archived form to comply with my legal obligations( e.g. for Tax , including requirements /exemptions and /or for the establishment ,exercise or defence of legal claims.
- Once no longer required, I will securely destroy the personal data.
- I reserve the right to amend this Policy from time to time without prior notice -
and you are advised to check my website marieashworth.com regularly for any amendments (which will not be made retrospectively).
